Eaton introduces Push-in technology on PKZ motor protection switches and DIL contactors
Eaton's full range of motor protection switches, contactors and motor starter combinations has been expanded to include a portfolio of components with Push-in connections. Current formats have been taken into account by keeping the new range almost identical in size. The new range therefore offers nothing but advantages.
Advantages Push-In technology
The ever-evolving automation within the industrial sector is giving the trend towards Push-in connections an extra boost through automated wiring systems.
Push-in technology also makes it possible to wire manually, without tools. It offers 50% time savings in connection time compared to screw terminals and 40% time savings in connection time compared to spring terminals. It also provides more reliable and vibration-resistant connections.
Advantages that make Eaton's PKZ/DIL with Push-in technology so special
While the integration of Push-in technology in many products often comes at the expense of component compactness, Eaton's new PKZ/DIL Push-in components remain small and compact. The contactors even have an identical footprint to the models with screw terminals.
A combined Push-in/screw solution is also available with the PKZ motor circuit breakers, for use with a comb rail on the power supply side. That said, all the old accessories from the older models can be connected to the new models with Push-in technology.
Finally, all components enjoy IEC & UL/CSA certification (UL Type E) for worldwide use.
All the advantages of PKZ/DIL with Push-in technology at a glance
1) Tools are no longer required for the installation of the components.
2) You save 40% to 50% of your wiring time.
3) The components enjoy IEC & UL/CSA certification (UL Type E).
4) The Push-in connection ensures 100% reliable and vibration-free connections without the need for extra work after transport.
5) Kamrails can supply the various motor protection switches.
6) Contactors with Push-in technology have 1:1 the same footprint as those with screw terminals.
