Eaton already presented the DG1 General Purpose frequency drive that is suitable for any application up to 630 kW and enjoys new modern functionalities with pump and fan algorithms. Now Eaton is launching a Micro variant of the same model that also fits into very compact enclosures.
The DM1 Micro General Purpose frequency drive, an extra compact variant available for applications up to 22 kW. The DM1 frequency drive is so compact that it fits into small enclosures with a depth of only 200 mm. With its small footprint, this new model allows for cost-effective installation within the control panel.
Like the DG1, the DM1 is also equipped with several modern features such as Modbus-RTU, U/f control, bluetooth, keypad, display, setpoint potentiometer, STO, Modbus TCP, Ethernet IP, BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, SLV control, PM control, integrated web server, a slot for one option card and of course pump and fan algorithms. Thanks to the integrated web server, you can even parameterize the DM1 via a web browser.
The new DG1 General Purpose drives and DM1 Micro General Purpose drives are more efficient, more robust, more compact, and safer. In addition, they have different on-board interfaces and communication protocols. The DG1 and DM1 thus offer a portfolio suitable for any application and thus make the selection process significantly easier. If the DG1 or DM1 is not suitable, Eaton can help select another suitable PowerXL drive that better suits your application.
