Eaton - 5P Gen 2 UPS: A Compact and Efficient Power Solution for Edge and IT Environments
The Eaton 5P Gen 2 UPS is a new product line that delivers more power and offers superior security and control compared to any other similar equipment. Additionally, it allows for the management of multiple devices, remote UPS configuration, and firmware updates.
With a power capacity of up to 1350 W—22% more than its predecessor and 33% more than comparable models on the market—this UPS is suitable for a wide range of applications. Its smart design ensures stable performance and energy efficiency, while advanced load segmentation enables prioritization of critical equipment for optimal battery life.
This new UPS model features Eaton's ABM+ Advanced Battery Management technology. This technology extends battery lifespan by up to 50% and, through machine learning, provides accurate battery life predictions and timely replacement alerts. The 5P Gen 2 also comes equipped with hot-swappable batteries and an intuitive battery replacement wizard via its built-in graphical LCD screen.
Using Intelligent Power Manager (IPM2) and Distributed IT Performance Management (DITPM), IT infrastructures can be remotely monitored and managed even in hard-to-access locations. This includes secure device configuration and firmware updates. The Eaton 5P Gen 2 UPS, including the Gigabit Network Card provided in the Netpack versions, meets stringent cybersecurity standards. Furthermore, the new UPS supports Eaton’s Brightlayer software, enabling seamless integration with virtualization environments while ensuring continuous service and data integrity.
The Eaton 5P Gen 2 UPS is available in a compact 1U rack or tower form factor, fitting into all types of spaces and being compatible with various setups.
