DEHNCARE - Personal protection
When working on electrical installations, arc faults can be caused by technical defects, incorrect operation, contamination or foreign objects in the installation.
DEHNcare personal protective equipment against electric arcs is carefully designed for relaxed and comfortable work. After all, only personal protective equipment that is worn and used correctly also provides effective protection.
The DEHNcare Safety Equipment range offers a comprehensive range of personal protective clothing against arc faults for electrically skilled persons, available in different protection classes. In Europe the protection classes APC 1 and APC 2 are relevant, internationally PPE categories 1-4 are used. Wear-resistant, standards-compliant, for both indoor and outdoor use.
- ArcFit outerwear meets protection class APC 2 and PPE category 4. Suitable for working on electrical installations with high energy levels. High-Level Protection (HLP) clothing protects when working on installations with high energy levels where special protection is required, such as low-voltage main and medium-voltage switchgear. (Protection level up to ATPV: 63 cal / cm² and ELIM value: 58 cal / cm²)
- DEHNcare underwear: such as undershirts, underpants and polo shirts increases the protection level in combination with the ArcFit Indoor and Outdoor. According to the principle of layering clothing, a higher protection class can be achieved. Each layer means additional safety.
- Protective gloves: when working on electrical systems, there is always the possibility of an arc fault. Hands come very close to sources of danger and must therefore be reliably protected.
- DEHNcare safety helmets, visors and balaclava: tested and certified protective equipment for eyes - face - head against arc faults and against burns, flying parts and sparks. DEHN safety helmets, face shields and visors are particularly clear, hard-wearing and scratch-resistant.
With the right protective equipment, personal safety is ensured, fire protection of your electrical system is optimized and plant availability is guaranteed.

Xeltis - Heart for businessRead moreXeltis develops technology for making artificial vessels and heart valves. When they needed a professional measuring machine for quality control, they knocked on itsme's door for control software and data collection. It worked out really well. “itsme has a lot of in-house expertise, they know everything about the hardware and they can switch quickly with partners. Plus, they're flexible.”
-
Van de Kar - Greater efficiency and depth with bespoke trainingRead moreVan de Kar Elektrotechniek has had a relationship with itsme since early 2003 for the supply of materials and Siemens training sessions. This spring was the premiere of in-house customised training. “That is much more efficient. Our guys already have a certain background, so they can skip basic stuff and actually dive deeper into specific parts.”

Manders Automation - Challenging each other to do it better and smarterRead moreThe relationship between Manders Automation and itsme is all about flexibility and the drive to do things better and smarter. Take, for example, the 2BIN system for grab stock management and the complete kits for serial machine construction. “We are constantly challenging each other. We also want to take additional steps in digitalization and become more sustainable.”
